With a diverse background ranging from high-end and new development real estate sales, to working with international clientele and event planning, Sheree Yellin brings a wealth of diverse knowledge and experience to any firm that she associates herself with. The daughter of a Connecticut property developer, it was not until Sheree purchased her first apartment, a co-op conversion on the Upper Westside, that her love of real estate was realized. Until then, she was a special education teacher for children in the New York public school system, teaching her how to practice patience, sensitivity and disciplined enthusiasm.
Upon realizing her calling in real estate, Sheree embarked on a successful real estate career, moving up the ladder at Prudential Douglas Elliman from high-end sales to serving as Executive Vice President, Director of Sales for the firm’s Eastside Office to eventually working as Director of Training for the firm.
She later joined Citi Habitats to oversee the firm’s Manhattan sales department before deciding to spend her time on sunnier horizons. Seeking new, eye-opening experiences, Sheree took time to travel in 2004. She settled in St. Barthelemy until late 2006 where she lived most of the year while resuming her career in real estate there and also working as a promotional consultant with the Nikki Beach Corporation, planning parties and events.
Being lured back to the New York City real estate market, Sheree has joined Halstead in a role that allows her to combine her many varied skills and widespread experience. Among her responsibilities, Sheree managed the on-site sales offices for more than 13 developments in New York City, trains the on-site sales staffs and coordinates on-site events for new development projects. Currently, she is Senior Vice President, work in the resale market in Manhattan after completing the sales in a top luxury building in Harlem, 5th On The Park, located at 1485 Fifth Avenue, New York, NY.
In addition to her dedication to her career in real estate, Sheree also devotes much of her time to Housing Works, a non-profit company that supports the Homeless living with HIV and/or AIDS. Sheree has earned a BA in Special Education from the University of Miami and worked towards a Masters degree in Educational Psychology at Fordham University. She currently lives on the Upper Westside with her French Bulldog, Surrey.
